Formally known as "Sleepy Thoughts on Marriage and Motherhood." I am not as sleepy, and my heart encompasses more than just my children and my husband. Besides, time has changed my perspective.

What's the Name of That Song? (Vintage Sesame Street)
My last post got me to thinking about this song. Isn't it a great song? Do you remember it from your childhood? Have you figured out the name of that song? That is the eternal question.
Tonight I will show the kids this -- we still sing these songs! We still watch Sesame Street around here, but I think this next year will be the last of it. Samantha's already showing less interest in it (sniff, sniff). We've had almost a decade of it with our own kids. Add that to both of us growing up with it and that's a lot of years!
After writing that post about the pie, I started thinking of that song about not sharing. So I was thinking to myself, "What's the name of that song?" I started researching on the computer. The only thing I could come up with is that it is called "The Peanut Song." In my research, I was lead to YouTube and found this song. I started playing it. Kirk was standing next to me and we started singing the words. Next thing I know, We started finding favorite Muppet Songs and playing them. It was fun. The funniest part of all of those old songs is that after hearing them, they got into my head and I would sing them throughout the day.
